Honorable Nace N. Soalabalai serves as Delegate representing Peleliu State in the House of Delegates of the Twelfth Olbiil Era Kelulau, where he currently chairs the Committee on Natural Resources and Environment. Re elected in January 2025, he continues to serve with distinction following his previous term in the Eleventh Olbiil Era Kelulau from 2021 to 2024, where he also chaired the same committee and served as Vice Chairman of the Committee on Education and Youth Affairs. In addition to his leadership role, he contributes as a member of key committees, including Education and Youth Affairs, Ways and Means, and Public Works, Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Projects.
Delegate Soalabalai brings extensive experience in public service, education, and diplomacy, supported by academic qualifications in community services and political science from Eastern Oregon State College, along with advanced studies in public administration at National University in San Diego. His professional background includes service with the Office of the Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, adjunct teaching at Northern Marianas College and the Northern Marianas Trade Institute, and diplomatic service as Chief of Mission at the Palau Consulate in Saipan. Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Palau and held various technical and administrative roles. He remains actively engaged in community and professional organizations, including his current role as a Board Member of the Micronesian Legal Service Corporation, reflecting his continued commitment to public service and community development.
