Honorable Rebecca Sebalt Ngirmechaet serves as Delegate representing Ngchesar State in the House of Delegates of the Twelfth Olbiil Era Kelulau and is Chairperson of the Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Financial Matters. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Upper Iowa University and associate degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from Brown Mackie College of Business. Her academic background also includes studies in Criminal Justice at Arizona State University and training in nursing care, reflecting a diverse and well-rounded educational foundation. Her early education spans institutions in both Palau and the United States, shaping her broad perspective in service and leadership.
Delegate Ngirmechaet brings extensive professional experience in administration, finance, tourism, and public service. She currently serves as Assistant Manager at West Caroline Trading Company and as a Board Member of the National Security Council, with previous service on the Board of Directors of the Belau Tourism Association. Her career includes roles in accounting, customer service supervision, and management with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, as well as experience in logistics and operations in the United States. Through decades of service across both the private and public sectors, she has developed strong organizational and leadership capabilities, which she now applies in advancing the interests of Ngchesar State and contributing to the national development of the Republic of Palau
