Honorable Noah Kemesong serves as Delegate representing Kayangel State in the House of Delegates of the Twelfth Olbiil Era Kelulau, where he currently serves as Chairperson of the Committee on Community, Planning, and Development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western New Mexico University, with minors in Political Science and Sociology. Early in his career, he served in the field of education as a teacher at Palau Community College, Emmaus High School, and Northern Marianas High School, and also worked as an Assistant Clerk of Courts at the Palau Supreme Court, establishing a strong foundation in both education and public service.
Delegate Kemesong brings extensive legislative experience, having served in the Kayangel State Legislature from 1996 to 2008, including as Speaker from 2004 to 2006. He was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2008 and has since been repeatedly entrusted by the people of Kayangel State to represent them across multiple terms of the Olbiil Era Kelulau. Throughout his tenure, he has held numerous leadership roles, including chairing key committees such as Resources and Development, Judiciary and Governmental Affairs, Commerce and Trade, and currently Community, Planning, and Development, while also contributing as a member of various committees. His longstanding service reflects a well rounded and practical understanding of governance, and a continued commitment to advancing the interests of Kayangel State and the Republic of Palau.
