Honorable Warren S. Umetaro serves as the Floor Leader of the House of Delegates of the Republic of Palau and Delegate representing Aimeliik State. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Society and Justice from the University of Portland and brings extensive experience in both the legislative and executive branches of government. His public service career includes roles as Chief of Staff to the Vice President and Minister of Finance, Special Assistant to the Senate, and various positions within the House of Delegates, including Committee Assistant, Public Information Officer, and Assistant Clerk of Committee Affairs.
First elected to the House of Delegates in 2021 and re-elected in 2025, he currently serves in the Twelfth Olbiil Era Kelulau, where he plays a key leadership role in guiding legislative deliberations. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, he serves as Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Aviation, and Transportation, Vice Chairman of the Committees on Foreign and Domestic Affairs and Housing Development, and as a member of several standing committees, reflecting his broad engagement in national policy and governance. Widely respected for his leadership, policy experience, and commitment to public service, he remains dedicated to advancing effective governance and serving the people of Aimeliik State and the Republic of Palau.
